With EpoxyGreen, Deborah Guyer Greene provides green building materials and
design inspiration and she's also started to present eco-friendly art shows at
the gallery next door, EpoxyBox.One of the best parts about what I do is meeting the kind of clientele that walks through the door every day: conscious, friendly people wanting to make a difference. It's such a great feeling. They’re like people you'd hang out with.
I know a lot of green chefs and we use them to cater our events. Patricia at Market Gourmet is an amazing caterer and uses organic and locally grown produce.
I'm a big fan of Natural High and like bamboo tees from Grain Collective. For my dog, I go to Dogromat because they use all-natural products for washing dogs and Bodhi, which has great natural organic food for dogs.
Any and all of them. A couple I will mention: Forest Ethics and Habitat for Humanity’s green building in New Orleans.
The thing I enjoy is that most people are searching. Many people are open and searching for answers and trying to live a balanced life. Honestly, it's being at the end of the earth and being by the beach.
I like to go into the Santa Monica Mountains to hike or bike.
Vermont, hands-now. It’s like living in the past. People are there for the lifestyle.
It's watching football in season. I also like to drive up the coast and get to Neptune's Net early when it’s really stunning.
I have a huge one. There is no reason for anybody to get plastic plates, cups, spoons, and other utensils. There is no reason!
The Solio charger.
I’m still a huge fan of "Cradle to Cradle." How about environmental music? The Jack Johnson soundtrack to "Curious George" has this great song for kids called "The 3 R's" and it’s great to see a two-year-old talk sing it.
I'm an oak. I've always wanted to be a willow, but I'm an oak.
First it had to do with it was a spiritual awakening more than an ecological awakening. I became more involved when I got the idea of voting with dollars and creating conscious commerce—and wanting to create a business that could facilitate change.
