I am diving into running my organic vegetable gardening business as a fulltime venture this summer! Heart Beet is about getting back to the land in an urban environment. We design, build and maintain organic vegetable gardens to encourage local and organic food as well as taking a step away from long traveling commercial agriculture. When I'm not designing, building or maintaining a garden, I'm hanging out with elementary school kids, shopping at the famer's market, drinking mojitos on my porch, playing scrabble, learning how to build with mud, swimming, biking, dancing, hiking....and napping.
