Journey Into Green:
How did Seeladavidsalon come to be involved in Earth-conscious living?
When my daughter was 11 she wanted a new bike. She already had a perfectly good one, so I told her to save her money. She started collecting "everyones" aluminim cans to recycle for money, that summer she earned enough money to buy that bike! When I was trying to come up with a concept for my new salon, I was taking out our recycling and it just hit me, go green in different ways that maybe no one local had heard about! I did a ton of research, finally finding another salon in New York that participated in the kind of programs I was interested in implimenting. I contacted them and they were very happy to help me. Since then, it's been a whirlwind of wonderful busyness!
