It’s a wild world of bloggers out there surfing the green waves of the Internet. And sometimes, it’s hard to know who to follow amongst the eco-twitters and postings and stumbles. From green fashion to eats to politics to parenting, here’s a few of our favorite eco-friends who help make the world just a little bit greener for the rest of us!

Stephanie Rogers
Stephanie Rogers blogs from Asheville, North Carolina about a myriad of green issues. From sharing recipes for natural homemade beauty products at Eco-Chick.com to writing articles about conservation and wildlife at The Mother Nature Network (MNN), she considers herself truly lucky to combine so many of her passions as a green living and environmental writer. Stephanie was lead writer at EarthFirst.com for nearly two years and contributes weekly articles to WebEcoist. Currently, Stephanie is working on her first novel.

Brian Clark Howard
Brian has been an environmental journalist for almost ten years and serves as a web editor for The Daily Green. He was previously managing editor of E/The Environmental Magazine and has written for Popular Mechanics Online, Men’s Health, Miller-McCune, Plenty, The Green Guide, Connecticut Magazine, AlterNet and elsewhere. Brian grew up in the Midwest and has a Masters in journalism from Columbia University. He spends a lot of time on the Internet, is addicted to social media, and blogs as the URTH Guy.

Jaymi Heimbuch
Jaymi Heimbuch grew up scrambling around the hills of the Central Coast of California, which bolstered her avid interest in the workings of the natural world and her environmentalist sensibilities. Believing strongly in living out one's activism and deeply interested in the power of technology to both help and harm the planet, she married her loves of writing and green technology and is dedicated to covering all things techy, gadgety and green for Treehugger.com and PlanetGreen.com.
Adam Shake
Adam Shake is a Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Simple Earth Media and founder of Twilight Earth and EcoTech Daily. He is an environmental writer, advocate, entrepreneur, speaker and Washington DC-based activist. Of his accomplishments, he is most proud of having risked arrest protesting at dirty coal powered power plants. Adam spent over a decade in the U.S. Army and has worked with Homeland Security and the Defense Industry. He is a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists, and an active participant in a number of environmental and social media clubs and organizations. You can find Adam at Twitter, Stumble Upon and more.

Luanne Bradley
Luanne Bradley is Senior Editor at EcoSalon.com where she writes the column, Life in the Green Lane. This is a humorous look at the modern family going green in the City. Luanne will soon be featured in an upcoming San Francisco Chronicle article on eco power-couple life alongside husband Edwin, a longtime environmentalist and lawyer from Berkeley. Her posts have also been featured on Alternet, Huffington Post and Divine Caroline. She is also the San Francisco Interior Design writer for Examiner.com.

Derek Markham
Derek Markham is an environmental blogger and social media butterfly who covers natural parenting, water issues, and general environmental stories at Natural Papa and Simple Earth Media. Derek likes big trees and large boulders, cold mountain streams and red rock desert, and the smell of piñon and sage. He’d rather be sitting in a canoe in the wilderness than the backseat of a Rolls Royce. When not tied to the keyboard, Derek is cycling, bouldering, or exploring the desert wilderness of the Southwest.

Mike Lieberman
Mike Lieberman, a longtime New Yorker, considers himself an example of how one can live sustainably, anywhere. Mike blogs about his organic vegetable garden on his Manhattan fire escape or the simple raw food recipes he creates. Through his sites and writing, Mike promotes simple eco-conscious decisions that can be easily be done in your daily lives without any disruption. He also writes for numerous sites across the web. You can find him at CanarsieBK.com and Twitter @CanarsieBK.
Starre Vartan
Starre Vartan is the founder and editor of EcoChick, a blog for hip, environmentally savvy young women. Eco Chick has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Shape Magazine, Glamour, the Christian Science Monitor, USA Today, Grist, Treehugger, our own Greenopia, and a host of green blogs. Starre's book entitled The Eco Chick Guide to Life: How to Be Fabulously Green was published Fall, 2008. Starre grew up in the Hudson Valley of New York and Sydney, Australia; both environments instilled in her a deep love and appreciation for the natural world. She lives and writes from her home on the Connecticut shore that she shares with two rescued cats and a crazy cocker spaniel.

Michael D’Estries
Michael D’Estries has been blogging green since 2005. He has seen the online green world transform from only a handful of sites to the incredible, sustainable content machine it is today. He co-founded the popular "green gossip" site Ecorazzi.com, along with GroovyGreen.com, VEGdaily.com, and Ecorattle.com. Michael, who currently lives in Ithaca, New York, has also freelanced for GreenOptions, Ecotality Life, Kiwi Magazine, and the Mother Nature Network.

Shea Gunther
Shea Gunther has been bouncing around the green blogosphere for almost as long as there has been one to bounce around. He covers climate change, green politics, and renewable energy for the Mother Nature Network. Shea started a blog in 2002 and drew his first paycheck as an environmental blogger in 2006 when he started eco-blog network Green Options. He lives in the small city of Portland, Maine and loves getting around town on his electric bike. When he's not trying to save the world, he can be found playing ultimate Frisbee, rock climbing, or running along the ocean.
