About GreenGoddess:
GreenGoddess's interests, passions, hobbies and favorite activities, etc.

I am a wife and mother of a great toddler. I am slowly working on my masters in Cultural Anthropology, and my personal passion is reading as much as I can on Environmental Anthropology. I own my own business, Rainy Day Designs, which is practical accessories for babies and children that I create myself. My designs are made with longevity and practicality in mind, as well as then environment. With my passion for the global environment and nature, my hobbies have evolved into gardening, making my own beeswax or soy candles, as well as my own home made soap.If there is a safer, more natural way to make the things my family needs, I have probably tried it. I have my own composter, and am preparing to circulate a petition to bring curbside recycling to my neighborhood.

Journey Into Green:
How did GreenGoddess come to be involved in Earth-conscious living?
My a-ha moment was when the former minister of our church asked the congregation if we would be able to one day look our children in the eye and say 'I did everything I could [to help save the environment]'.
