Journey Into Green:
How did Sustainable NYC come to be involved in Earth-conscious living?
When my apt was being renovated i started driving my architects crazy with green ideas, so i decided to educate myself and ended up as a LEED AP and changing my retail store from a successful t-shirt shop into an even more successful chic eco boutique.

Recommendations:
Sustainable NYC's favorite books, movies, TV Shows, environmental organizations, or local community groups.
My favorite books are actually books about addressing poverty in the world through micro credit or education such as Banker to the Poor and Three Cups of Tea. Once you address your lifestyle, understanding the world's problems and opportunities and how all is related is essential.
