  I just took a Virgin flight last week and when i saw the flight attendant sorting the cups from the trash i was impressed and asked if they recycled them. Unfortunately she said no, they just get so much trash she was trying to make more room. It would seem so simple to recycle all these plastic cups and of course all the cans (maybe they do recycle those?). Is it an issue with the airports not providing recycling facilities for plastic?
