In the role of General Manager for the Green Media Group (Greenopia), Ben Kenney oversees business development and financial affairs. Ben brings to the team twenty years of business experience, working in the fields of investment management, sales, and general management, both in the United States and London. While working in investment management, Ben helped to develop and manage socially responsible investment products. This experience, coupled with his personal commitment to green living, brought him to Greenopia in 2010. Ben is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Doug also does numerous speaking engagement about sustainability including lecturing at ULCA, SFSU, SUNY Orange, and numerous conferences.
Doug acquired his Master's Degree in Corporate Environmental Management from the Donald Bren School of Environmental Science and Management where he studied life cycle analysis, green markets, eco-labels, and consumer perception of the environment. Doug currently sits on the board of the Clean Business Certification and Clean Business Investment Summit and is a judge for the Innovative Green Design Awards. Doug presently resides in sunny Santa Barbara, CA. |

Sarah Amiri is a passionate advocate for watershed and ocean preservation, and has over ten years of experience working with non-profits and National Parks on projects focusing on these issues.
Furthermore, she has devoted much of her time to collaborative and independent projects in watershed preservation, long-term ecological research, oceanographic surveys, native plant restoration and seed collection, tropical ecology, testing for nutrients and pesticides in streams, and working with small businesses on sustainable seafood initiatives. She also periodically works with the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she contributes to research on the effects of climate change on phytoplankton productivity, and long-term ecological research on harmful algal blooms. Sarah is still very closely linked to community outreach programs geared towards environmental projects, and initiatives. Many of these initiatives are centered on teaching students about protecting local watersheds, and occasionally providing free workshops to the community on applied topics in sustainable living. |
